The name of the Church is "Bethany Deliverance Church of God
in Christ" Pentecostal which is referred to as the "Church". Bethany Deliverance started in 1999 by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit through Pastor Cecil Durrant who is the founder and the pastor of this assembly. The members of Bethany Deliverance believes in the verbal
inspiration of the bible as set out in the gospel of Jesus Christ. As taught
by himself and his Apostles is the only rule for government, discipline,
faith and practice. And it is the Christian Law: Exodus 19-9; 11Peter
1:20-21 We believe in One God eternally existing in three persons: Namely, the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. Matthew 3:16-17 In God the three in one, Jesus Christ the son of God. The creator of all
things visible and invisible. The only savior of sinners and God the judge
of all. Jesus Christ was born of the virgin Mary by miraculous conception
through the Holy Ghost. He lived a sinless life, died a ransom for all men.
He buried and rose again on the third day. he ascended forty days after
resurrection and took his place at his father's right hand as our High
Priest. He shall return with the saints to set up his kingdom on earth and
execute judgment on the wicked and ungodly. |
